Beautycounter Skin Care Saviours

Lotus Cleansing Balm: If you can only snag one thing from Beautycounter forever + amen, it would be this product. The Cleansing Balm is a thick, vaseline like balm that melts into skin to remove makeup + cleanse OH SO GENTLY. It honestly has changed my skin more than anything else. It’s helped with breakouts, blackheads + dry skin + I think that’s because it doesn’t strip natural oils. This tub lasts me 8 months plus + can be used as a moisturizing mask too!
Countertime Radiance Serum: Once I hit 32, I realized that I should probably start investing in my “maturing” skin, ha! I wasn’t really down for harsh retinols or botox, but this serum uses a plant based version of retinol called bakuchiol + it’s amazing. My skin looks instantly revived when I put on a pump + over time it has helped to soften the fine lines on my forehead, all while working to prevent new ones from forming. This can totally be used day or night or both!
Countertime Ultra Eye Renewal Cream: Much like the above, I never used an eye cream before age 32. I have extremely sensitive eyes + just wasn’t sure about using anti-aging ingredients in that area. But, enter this Countertime Eye Cream + OMG. It works to combat dark circles AND fine lines and wrinkles. It’s really hydrating for the fine skin around the eyes + I won’t be without it now. The little pot of it has lasted me 14 months, so it’s well worth the investment.
Overnight Resurfacing Peel: This is Beautycounter’s MOST popular + MOST loved product ever + I totally get the hype. This “peel” is a mix of AHA/BHA plant acids that chemically exfoliate the skin overnight to help with texture, tone + discoloration. There’s no actual peeling involved + the chemical exfoliator is so much more gentle than something with abrasive beads. One pump + you wake up to brand new skin. Charcoal Mask: This product is such a multitasker in our house. I have larger pores + am easily prone to blackheads, so I love using this mask once a week or so to draw out impurities + it totally does. Like, I can see a difference from before + after. If you struggle with acne, hormonal acne, large pore or oily skin, this is for YOU. My husband + I love to dot a small amount of this on a pesky pimple + leave it to dry overnight. Beautycounter Makeup Must Have’s

Skin Twin Foundation: In full transparency, I’m wearing full foundation less + less as my skin continues to improve, but when I reach for one, it’s Skin Twin. This foundation has a really natural, medium (but buildable) coverage + is packed with hyaluronic acid so that it plumps skin rather than drying it like so many foundations. It honestly makes my skin just look “finished” + it really has great staying power for busy days.
Think Big Mascara: THIS MASCARA. I was so excited when Beautycounter launched a new mascara this year because their old one…well, sucked. This is the best mascara, clean or not, that I’ve ever used. It’s volumizing + lengthening + doesn’t flake off of my lashes. It isn’t 100% waterproof (like if you go into water), but I have to use the cleansing balm to get mine off at night. If you want dramatic lashes or more natural ones, this can do both!
Eye Brow Gel: I don’t know why, but full + styled eye brows just make me feel so put together. This gel is a 2 minute (or less) step to brush, fill + set brows. I love that the gel has some color to fill in any sparse spots + I have 2 back-up tubes in my drawer right now. I LOVE it.
Cream Blush: I am a new convert to cream products + these blushes are one of the reasons why. They are hyper pigmented, so smooth + add the most flattering dewy color to cheeks! I’ve only tried Cider, but I think any of these shades would be gorgeous. Pair it with foundation + more for a full face, or do as I do + just mascara + brow gel alongside this blush is perfect for every day at home.
Lip Jellies: These lip jellies are the best thing ever. Remember Carmex? These are like that, but scented with responsibly sourced vanilla + in the most gorgeous sheer colors. So moisturizing, sweetened with stevia + just look beautiful. I honestly always have 2 in my purse + I believe they’re great value for money too.
