That feeling when you finally get to hold your baby brother after praying for him to come home for almost 3 months 🥹

What a sweet, serendipitous day to go HOME with our boy - a day full of thanks giving 😉

Oh hi, guess who’s breastfeeding now?! 😭

Tomorrow Benji will transition to 100% breastmilk feeds. It’s a day we’ve prayed and prayed for 😭

Officially on *some* breastmilk for over 48 hours 🤞🏻 We’ve increased the amount after a clear chest x-ray (during which he fell asleep, as pictured 🤣) and the plan is to increase again tomorrow as long as we see no changes in his breathing - yay Benji!

Well friends, today is the day.

Some sweet moments from this weekend. While we wait to introduce oral feeds and breastmilk (bub isn’t quite ready yet), we’re just getting to cuddle and love him like a normal baby. And after nearly a month of not being able to hold him at all, we’re both soaking it up ❤️

Benji is OFF breathing supporting of any kind! He is breathing like a completely normal, healthy baby. Less than 2 weeks ago he was ventilated! Praise the freaking Lord.

Both of my babies together ❤️ I can’t wait until this is our every day. (This photo is from Saturday! He’s still on high flow, not CPAP!)

6 weeks after Benji was born and we can finally see his sweet little face 🥹 BYE CPAP!
