Easiest Whole30 Deviled Eggs

These Deviled Eggs are the EASIEST! The eggs are mixed with avocado oil mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar and a pinch of salt for the simplest, most delicious Whole30, Keto + Paleo version of the classic.

I feel like it’s impossible to fully enjoy any of our warm weather seasons without the proper food, am I right?! I’m talking: barbecue, coleslaw, fresh berries, cold drinks of the patio + deviled eggs.

I’m a summer baby + my birthday falls right at the end of July. Every year, before I moved to England, my grandmother would host the entire family at her house for some sort of spectacular birthday blowout. And without fail, her deviled eggs were always there. Mine aren’t exactly the same as hers, but they do have the flavour we’re looking for.

This classic recipe is SO simple to begin with. But, just a few tweaks to the ingredient list means that we end up with a Paleo, Whole30, Keto, Refined Sugar Free version of the tried + true These Easiest Whole30 Deviled Eggs will not let you down. I promise.

Ingredients for Easiest Deviled Eggs

The ingredients in these Easiest Whole30 Deviled Eggs are really similar to the original. One small switch here + there is all that’s needed to make sure these are friendly to all sorts of allergies + life styles. Here’s what you need:

  • Hard Boiled Eggs
  • Avocado Oil Mayonnaise
  • Mustard
  • Vinegar
  • Salt

The most important part of the ingredients list is the mayonnaise. I am totally not here to shame any one for their diet choices, so if you’re happy with conventional mayonnaise, then go for it! These will be delicious with store-bought mayonnaise. However, if you’re trying to adhere to Keto, Whole30 or Paleo, using Avocado Oil Mayonnaise really is necessary. And here’s why…

Traditional mayonnaise is made using refined vegetable oils. Things like canola, rapeseed, safflower, peanut or ground nut oil are all made by a highly mechanical and chemical process that extracts the oils from the seeds. There are all sorts of reasons why you should avoid vegetable oils if you’re looking to optimise your longterm health, but its required if you’re following a Paleo or Whole30 diet. Since I’m not a medical professional or a scientist, I’ll go ahead and link an article here for you to read if you wish!

Putting Them Together

If you’ve never made deviled eggs before, it’s incredibly simple! Honestly, the hardest part is perfectly cooking + peeling the hardboiled eggs, ha! I don’t know about you guys, but I am the WORST at peeling eggs.

Once you have your eggs cooked, peeled + cut in half, it’s as simple as mixing the yolks together with the other minimal ingredients. You want to really stir them together well. I mix + mash it against the side of the bowl, or even use a whisk to get it really fluffy + creamy.

The last step is just to spoon the yolk mixture back into the egg whites. OR, if you’re feeling really fancy, you can totally use a piping bag or a bag with the tip cut off to pipe it in.

To finish, simply sprinkle with some sea salt or paprika or fresh dill if you’re feeling it! If not, that’s okay too. Just serve them as is. They’re super delicious!

Easiest Paleo Deviled Eggs

These Easiest Whole30 Deviled Eggs are the perfect summer food! Serve them up alongside of some barbecue or grilled chicken with some Asian Cashew Coleslaw with some Soft-Baked Lemon Cookies for dessert + you’re in summertime heaven!

These Deviled Eggs should be kept cold, so be sure to put any leftovers in the fridge. They’ll keep for 3-4 days, but I doubt they’ll last that long 😉 Have some to spare? They’re DIVINE chopped into some chicken or tuna salad.

The Easiest Whole30 Deviled Eggs

Prep Time 5 minutes
Servings 24 halves

Ingredients

  • 12 hard boiled eggs
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard, dijon or whole grain
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1/2-1 tsp salt (depending on desired taste!)

Instructions

  • Cut each of the hard boiled eggs in half. Scoop out the yolk + add it to a bowl.
  • In the bowl with the yolks, add the other ingredients. Mix and mash together with a fork or whisk until combined + creamy.
  • Using either a spoon or piping bag (or plastic bag with the tip removed), fill the egg white with the yolk mixture. *Optional to sprinkle with paprika or fresh dill.
  • Serve immediately or keep in the fridge for 3-4 days!
