Paleo Apple and Honey Glazed Ham

This super simple Paleo Apple and Honey Glazed Ham is just what you want on your holiday table. It's sweet, salty + all sorts of flavourful from the apple juice and mustard! It's such a winner.

Ingredients

  • 4-6 lb smoked ham
  • 2 cups apple juice
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. With a sharp knife, score the skin of the ham into a diamond pattern. Place the ham in a baking dish and place in the oven to bake for 1-1.5 hours, depending on the size, until warmed through and golden brown on top.
  • In a saucepan on the stove, combine the apple juice, honey, apple cider vinegar and Dijon.
  • Bring to a slow simmer and cook for 30 minutes or until the reduces by half and begins to get thick.
  • Once the ham is heated through, brush the sauce over the outside. Place back in the oven for 10 minutes to brown the glaze.
  • Serve sliced thinly with extra glaze on the side for drizzling!
