Paleo Salted Caramel Latte

Ingredients

Salted Caramel Syrup

  • 1 can full fat coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Latte

  • 1 espresso shot or cup of strong coffee
  • desired amount of non-dairy milk

Instructions

To make the Salted Caramel Syrup

  • Add the coconut sugar, coconut milk and salt to a saucepan.
  • Place over medium heat and bring to a boil.
  • Once it reaches a boil, immediately turn the temperature to low and allow to simmer for 45 minutes until thickened.
  • Once it's off the heat, stir in the vanilla extract.

To make the latte

  • Simply add 1-2 tablespoons of the salted caramel syrup to a glass with coffee or espresso.
  • Stir together and top with desired amount of hot/frothed milk. Enjoy!
